So I ran around yesterday and grabbed essential oils Frankincense, Orange, and Lemongrass, tried to get my hands on Rice Bran and failed, and got some Vetrycin for Rosie's vaginal opening.
As recommended, I let Rosie sniff the essential oils to see if she was interested. While she took off at the bottle, once I put a little bit on my fingertip, she was pretty intrigued (as were the other horses!) Then I mixed the oils together (6 drops of Frankincense and Orange, 5 drops of Lemongrass) in 40 mL of sesame oil. I got her somewhat squirted but it is more of a stream than a spritz and the poor girl was pretty shocked. Whoops. I did get her covered in the Vetrycin and it must have felt amazing because she was quite still for that treatment.
I mixed about a 1/4 cup of edible aloe gel in her mash and she was not impressed. I'm not sure what to do to get her to eat it, but I will try again tonight. She isn't desperate for food, which makes this horse mama happy.

This morning I was able to collect a fresh stool sample to send to the vet. She texted me quickly back and Rosie needs to be wormed tonight. I hope once those are taken care of, she will be able to gain weight quickly.
I went to the feed store today and checked out their available (not!) medicine for ulcers and there was nothing. I was able to grab a 50 lb bag of rice bran, so that's going to be helpful. I also got enough worming to treat all 4 ponies.
