Every night, bucket of beet pulp and alfalfa pellets, soak them to puff
them up. Every other hour, offer 1 coffee can of beet puffed beet pulp mixed with ½ coffee can of puffed alfalfa pellets and rewet
it so it's soupy. Do this for one week, slowly adding more pellets per meal and making the mix 50/50.I am also offering her alfalfa, which she only eats the flowers and not the stems.
On day 7, add a 1/2 cup of oil to a morning feeding, with an optional electrolyte powder.
At 1 month, you should see a 100# weight gain, and you can start to add in rice bran.
I saw immediate improvement in her digestive system, it helps move her gut along. She isn't drinking as much water, but the mash has so much water in it, I know she's hydrated.
I brushed her out and lil miss is SHEDDING like crazy.
She has a lot of dirt on her skin so the topline is mostly dirt.
I can't wait for her to get some muscles.
Poor girl has melanomas all over her girly parts.

Because of the bute that Rosie was getting, I'm pretty sure she has stomach ulcers. A natural and inexpensive way to help her is to go to Walmart for aloe juice (health food dept): $6 gallon and add it to her feed every other week. I wasn't able to find any juice, but I did find edible aloe gel, so i added that into her feed.
To address the melanoma I have been researching essential oils mixed with a coconut oil base.
The Best Essential Oils for Health
Using these oils separately is a possibility, but it's the
unique proportions of a quality blend of these oils, and the quality of the
oils themselves, that make the difference in the therapeutic support they
offer.
Essential oils for health and healing found in popular
blends include:
- Frankincense: Old Frankie is a powerful anti-inflammatory and immune stimulant, as well as having anticancer and antitumor properties. It's a popular oil for all types of health concerns for it's potential to support the body and increase the potential of other oils.
- Wild Orange: This oil has high levels of d-limonene, which has been shown to be very anticancer. It's also a digestive aid, antiseptic, antidepressant, and is helpful with cholesterol, immunity, and emotional balance.
- Lemongrass: Lemongrass is again anticancer, anti-inflammatory, a vasodilator, and has been shown effective against antibiotic-resistant infections and cholesterol, making it potentially helpful for the immune system and cardiovascular system.
- Thyme: Thyme is highly antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, antiviral, antiseptic, and antioxidant, meaning it is helpful for a variety of health concerns from infections to autoimmunity and more.
- Summer Savory: Known for its antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. According to studies, it's helpful in decreasing lipid peroxidation associated with aging and reducing DNA damage caused by oxidative stress in lymphocytes1, as well as reducing blood platelet adhesion (a risk factor for heart disease)2.
- Clove: Highly antioxidative, effective against candida, antitumor, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic. It's also helpful in supporting liver and thyroid function.
- Niaouli: Powerfully antifungal and anti-inflammatory. It's even used to protect against radiation and help regenerate tissue damage.
